Litha is a special day for witches and pagans alike. It's a time to celebrate the summer solstice, the longest day of the year when the sun reaches the peak of its strength. This holiday has been celebrated for centuries and holds great significance in many cultures around the world.

We use this opportunity to pick all of the magical herbs that will be used in our hand-made soaps, candles, oils, perfumes & other products because it’s believed that herbs are the most powerful when picked during this special occasion. We believe that these herbs are charged with powerful energy from the sun on this specific day which makes them even more potent when used in magic rituals.

But what exactly is Litha? And why do we celebrate it?

In ancient times, people would light bonfires and dance around them to honor their gods and goddesses during this time. They also used to gather wildflowers to create wreaths as symbols of fertility and prosperity.

For modern-day witches who practice Wicca or other pagan religions, Litha marks a time of gratitude for all things related to nature such as harvesting crops - fruits like cherries or strawberries are especially important symbols at this festival since they represent abundance & fertility.

During Litha celebrations today- we often see people performing various rituals including cleansing themselves with water infused with lavender oil or burning sage bundles (this purifies the energy around you) around their homes/rooms etc. Some people also create altars filled with bright flowers representing different deities while others might perform meditations under sunlight using crystals/stones known for their healing properties.

One popular tradition associated with Litha is making wishes come true by writing your desires on paper and then burning them along with sweet-smelling incense before burying ashes outside somewhere secluded – hidden from view until the wish is fulfilled!

As you can see - there's no shortage of ways to celebrate Litha. Whether you're a seasoned witch or simply curious about the traditions of Wicca, this holiday is an excellent opportunity to connect with nature and tap into its powerful energy.

We hope to share the magic of Litha with all of our customers by offering unique products made from herbs picked during this auspicious day. We welcome you to explore what we have to offer - who knows, maybe your wish will come true!
