Many people think that using a pendulum for divination and dowsing is hard and requires special abilities. The truth is that anyone can learn to use pendulums for divination as long as they know the basic principles, they ask the right questions, and especially when they pair their divination practice with a suitable divination pad with letters, numbers, and answers.
What type of pendulum should I use for divination and dowsing?
Let's start with what type of pendulum you should use. As you've noticed, pendulums can be made from many different materials - metal, orgonites, semi-precious stones, etc. You can use a divination pendulum made from any of these materials, as long as it can resonate with your energy.
In my opinion, the easiest pendulums to use are those made of semi-precious stones, because the stones have their own energy vibrations. This allows the pendulum to resonate with the energy of the stone it's made of, and not be affected that much by your subconscious mind - this helps it reveal answers that are aligned with the truth, and not with the bias of your subconscious mind.
How do I pick the most suitable stone or crystal for my pendulum?
If you want to use the divination pendulum to ask questions about love or romantic relationships, it's best to choose rose quartz. Rose quartz is known as the stone of love and soulmates, but it also helps us get over hardships.
If you want to use the divination pendulum to ask questions mainly for other people, then you should consider choosing quartz (mountain quartz). Clear quartz has a very high energetic frequency, which can easily adjust to the energy of the person you're asking the question for.
If you want to use the divination pendulum to ask questions regarding investments, business, and money, then tigers eye is the stone you should choose. Tigers eye is a stone that has a medium vibrational frequency and is known to be able to attract money and prosperity
If you're a practicing witch or you're into other spiritual practices, then maybe you should choose amethyst. It can help you concentrate your energy in order to get the most accurate answer from your pendulum.
If you want to use your divination pendulum often and let it help you take daily decisions, it would be a good idea to choose jade. Jade is a stone that doesn't need to be recharged with energy as often, which makes it ideal suitable for daily use.
What is the best pendulum for divination and dowsing?
After many years of practicing divination, I began making my own pendulums, which combine the power of semi-precious stones with that of the orgonite.
The part of the pendulum you hold in your hand is an orgonite made with epoxy resin with embedded semi-precious stones - created during the most favorable days and lunar phases according to astrology. In the middle, there's a semi-precious stone Merkabah - a shape that is renowned for its magical power - it also points the energy downwards, towards the lowest part of the pendulum.
This sort of configuration works perfectly for me and I hope it also does for you.
Additionally, I can also offer you convenient divination pads with written out letters, numbers, and simple answers. This will allow you to see the answer your divination pendulum is giving you, while also being able to concentrate more on the question you're trying to ask.
If you're someone who wants to use a pendulum for general spiritual guidance, then you should choose a metal pendulum, but in my personal experience I've found they aren't as accurate when it comes to receiving answers to more detailed questions - they are rather useful for helping you improve your inner sight.
I hope this information has served you well. If you're interested in divination, feel free to take a look at other articles I've written or my upcoming book about all forms of divination.
